1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TrustRoas ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TrustRoas is a transparency platform that allows media buyers, agencies, and e-commerce store owners to publicly verify their:

Facebook Ads spend (via read-only Meta Marketing API)
Shopify revenue (via read-only Shopify Admin API)
Aggregated metrics across multiple clients (for agencies)

3. Read-Only Access & Data Usage

🔒 READ-ONLY ACCESS ONLY

TrustRoas requests ONLY read-only access to your Facebook Ads and Shopify accounts. We explicitly:

✓ CAN read: Ad spend, revenue totals (aggregated), account names
✗ CANNOT write or modify: Ads, campaigns, orders, products
✗ CANNOT post: On your behalf on any platform
✗ CANNOT access: Customer personal data, emails, addresses, payment info
✗ CANNOT change: Any settings or configurations

Shopify Permissions Explained

Why we request these permissions:

read_orders: To calculate your total revenue by reading order amounts (totals only, not customer details)
read_analytics: To access store performance reports and metrics

✓ Data Usage: This revenue data is used ONLY on TrustRoas.com for verification and public display on your profile. We do NOT share with third parties or use for any other purpose.

4. User Obligations

You agree to:

Provide accurate and truthful information
Only connect accounts you own or have permission to access
Not manipulate or falsify data
Not use the Service for illegal purposes
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Data Verification and Display

All data displayed on TrustRoas is:

Fetched directly from official APIs (Facebook Marketing API, Shopify Admin API)
Updated daily via automated sync
Subject to admin approval before public display
Displayed publicly on the leaderboard after approval

6. Privacy Controls

You have control over what is displayed publicly:

Option to hide Shopify store URLs (privacy mode)
Option to hide client store names (for agencies)
Only aggregated metrics shown when privacy is enabled
You can disconnect integrations at any time

7. Sponsor Spots

TrustRoas offers sponsor spots ($1,499/month) for advertising. By purchasing a sponsor spot:

Payment is processed via Stripe
Spots are activated manually by admin (within 24 hours)
You can cancel your subscription anytime
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
Maximum 20 sponsor spots available

8. Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

Submit fake or manipulated data
Connect accounts you don't own without permission
Scrape or copy data from the platform
Reverse engineer or attempt to access restricted areas
Use the Service to spam or harass others

9. Admin Approval

All submissions are subject to admin review and approval. We reserve the right to reject submissions that:

Contain false or unverifiable data
Violate these Terms of Service
Are duplicate submissions
Contain inappropriate content

10. Disclaimer

TrustRoas is provided "as is" without any warranties. We do not guarantee:

100% uptime or availability
Accuracy of third-party API data
That the Service will meet your specific requirements

11. Limitation of Liability

TrustRoas and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation.
